The pre-wedding film of actress/singer Karel Marquez with fiancé, Sean Fariñas has been going viral on social media and watching the first few seconds of it, one can easily why.
It begins with dreamy shots coupled with Karel’s breathy voice reciting a moving Tagalog spoken word piece called “Nagsimula”. Then it backtracks to a time before they met, telling their love story in a non-linear way.
Created in collaboration with Treehouse Story, it’s the first of two pre-wedding films. You can watch it below.
Karel and Sean got engaged in May 2016. Sean got down on one knee on a boat in Negros Oriental.
The couple have been together for five years.
Karel has two kids–aged 6 and 5–from a previous relationship; Sean treats the two kids as his own.
