TV Host-Actress and Presidential sister Kris Aquino has been drawing the ire of many people on social media after she posted a photo taken by her son Bimby.

In it, she is seen wearing a towel with her upper back exposed. Red patches are seen which she says is sunburn from touring the APEC delegates’ wives around Fort Santiago.

The caption says:

“About to sleep, Bimb took this picture- decided to post this so we can all have a good laugh tonight sa karma ng kaartehan ko  na SUNBURN ako ng bongga- nabilad in Fort Santiago at the peak of the just before noon heat… You’ll love the sense of humor of my sister Viel, baka daw my entire back nag ka lace patterned sunburn. Si Bimb naman said the shape of the sunburn is like the Batman mask from the Michael Keaton era…

Quits na tayo sa lahat ng nahirapan mag commute these past few days, patas ang mundo, patche patche naman ang balat ko.”

In this photo, we see Kris showing off her “post-APEC sunburn”.

Though it may seem harmless to some, the part that irked many people was Kris saying ‘quits na tayo’, meaning that even though many commuters were greatly inconvenienced by road closures and other restrictions, there is fairness in the world because of the patches on her skin.

Emotions are still running high after the enormous hassle many Filipinos went through during APEC week. Many people were stranded and had to walk long distances just to get a ride home.
