A 16-year-old was raped, and her companion molested after they met a stranger in Luneta.

She had no recollection of what happened

According to the students, they went to Luneta to hang out in the park at around 8:30 am, when a man wearing a brown jacket started talking to them. After a while, the 2 students can be seen on the CCTV following the man to take a ride on a jeepney. The trio went to a mall in Mandaluyong at around 10:30 am, and the man brought 2 pairs of pants for the students to wear, and asked them to change out of their uniforms. The man then asked the victim to go with him, and that’s when he took her to a nearby hotel and then raped her. After the incident, the man then took the victim’s companion, molested her and even stole her cellphone and her wallet.

The victim said that she was unable to speak or even act against the man who raped her. She added that she had almost no recollection of what happened. When she realized that she had been raped, she immediately sought help from the nearby police.

Her companion didn’t file any complaints.

The victim is unable to go to school due to trauma
