11-year-old is killed by stray bullet right outside his home

He was just an innocent bystander to a commotion in their neighborhood. Authorities are still searching for the one who fired the fatal shot.

Caloocan, City–Last November 21, 11-year-old Stephen Padilla was just right outside their house when, out of nowhere, he was hit by a stray bullet.

His grandmother told GMA news that she heard shots and so went outside to check the commotion in the neighborhood. The young boy was only collateral damage to the incident.

Though he was brought directly to the hospital, the young boy was declared dead on arrival.

Barangay officials who heard the consecutive shots as well and quickly called the police for help.
