5 Inspiring Events with a Cause That Filipino Families Should Know About

In a world where every small effort can make a big difference, several organizations are leading impactful initiatives. For Filipino families, these events offer meaningful opportunities to get involved and support important causes. From addressing food insecurity to celebrating local achievements and promoting inclusivity, these initiatives reflect a commitment to improving lives. Here’s a look at five inspiring events that highlight the spirit of giving back and making a positive impact.

Why It Matters: With one in three people worldwide uncertain about their next meal, this initiative is crucial. IHG will be funding early screening for malnutrition and inviting guests to donate their IHG One Rewards points to help fund these efforts. Every 10,000 points donated can screen around 124 children for malnutrition, and 7,500 points can provide nutritious food for a child for six weeks.

How You Can Help: As a family, you can contribute by donating your IHG rewards points to this cause. Learn more on IHG’s website or during your next stay.
