10 summer drinks recipe for your kids and your whole family

1. Watermelon Lemonade

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups chopped watermelon
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cups ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Add the chopped watermelon, fresh lime juice, and honey to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add the ice cubes to the blender and pulse until the ice is crushed and the mixture is slushy.
  4. Taste the slushie and add more honey or lime juice if needed.
  5. Pour the slushie into glasses and serve immediately.
  6. Garnish with lime wedges or watermelon slices, if desired.

You can adjust the sweetness of the slushie by adding more or less honey, depending on your preference. You can also add a splash of club soda or sparkling water for a fizzy twist.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Whipped cream and sliced strawberries, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Add the vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries, and milk to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the milkshake into a glass.
  4. Top with whipped cream and sliced strawberries, if desired.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

3. Peach Ice Tea

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 fresh peaches, peeled and diced
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • Sliced peaches and mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the black tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until it dissolves.
  3. Add the diced peaches to the pot and let steep for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  4. Strain the tea and discard the peaches.
  5. Let the tea cool to room temperature, then transfer it to a pitcher and refrigerate until chilled.
  6. To serve, add ice cubes to glasses and pour the peach iced tea over the ice.
  7. Garnish with sliced peaches and mint leaves, if desired.

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • Pineapple wedges and shredded coconut, for garnish (optional)

  1. Add the chopped pineapple, coconut milk, Greek yogurt, and ice cubes to a blender.
