Over the past few years, actor Charlie Sheen has not been able to shake controversy.
His most recent publicized struggle is that he can no longer pay child support for his kids with ex-wives Brooke Mueller and Denise Richards.
It seems like the actor’s lavish lifestyle has finally caught up with him. Currently, Charlie has been providing $55,000 a month in child support to his twins Bob and Max since 2009. And, $50,000 dollars goes to support daughters Sam and Lola with ex-wife Denise Richards.
Sadly, he’s fallen on hard times and he’s not quite making the income that he used to. And he has requested the court lessen the amount he’s required to pay according to his income
When he was starring in the hit sitcom Two and a Half Men, he normally made $613,000 a month. By the time the show was airing its eighth season, his salary had ballooned to $1.8 million an episode.
But, sadly, he recently had to sell the rights to the hit show for $26,750,000.
The 50-year-old’s average income is now around $87,384 (but this amount isn’t consistent).
Perez Hilton reports that he only made $6,261 in January 2016.

A drastic decline
Forbes reports that his lifestyle cost him $105,000 a month and he doesn’t have medical insurance coverage for his HIV treatment. So, that sets him back around $25,000 monthly.
To further add to his burden, he has to come up with $1 million to pay for his legal fees, and he is deep in credit card debt, owing roughly $600,000.
His income has “drastically declined” over the past few years but these aren’t the only things hounding him. He allegedly sold the house where he lived with ex-wife Denise and sold it without giving her a share in the earnings.
Fans can only hope that the Golden Globe winning actor can rise above his woes and recover from all of this for the sake of his four adorable kids.
