Adele let her son dress up as Princess Anna from Frozen because 'why not?'

Adele let her son dress up as Princess Anna from Frozen because 'why not?'

Adele has earned the praise of many netizens for breaking gender barriers and being a great parent

Of course Adele is absolutely nailing this whole motherhood thing.

The British pop star was recently spotted at Disneyland, bare-faced and glowing as she spent a fun day at the happiest place on earth with partner Simon Konecki and their 3-year-old son, Angelo James.

At first blush, she looks just like any other mom pushing around an excited toddler in a stroller but taking a closer look we see that it is, in fact, Adele he is indeed sporting a Princess Anna costume.

She has previously been lauded for being candid about motherhood. She is just like the rest of us, only perfect.

Adele recently told i-D magazine, “It’s f**king hard. I thought it would be easy,” Adele told the mag. “‘Everyone f**king does it, how hard can it be?’ Ohhhh…”

“I had no idea. It is hard but it’s phenomenal. It’s the greatest thing I ever did. He makes me be a d**khead, and he makes me feel young and there’s nothing more grounding than a kid kicking off and refusing to do what you’re asking of them. It used to be that my own world revolved around me, but now it has to revolve around him.”

Not surprisingly, though, the unconventional choice of attire earned Adele some criticism from netizens who believe this is an example of ‘bad parenting’. But it is to be expected when one is breaking barriers.

The majority of the reactions, however were positive ones: many netizens were praising her for not allowing her son to be limited by gender stereotypes and to encourage him to define his own individuality even early on in life.

No matter what, we’re sure there’s one who approves of this 100%! Princess Anna, herself!
