21-year-old beauty and lifestyle vlogger Ashley Sandrine Yap has always considered her dad Richard Yap her best friend and biggest supporter. In a recent makeup vlog, the adorable dad showed just how much!
Following his daughter’s instructions, Yap applied makeup like a pro. “Hopefully I don’t end up looking like a clown,” joked Ashley, as her dad carefully dabbed on some cushion foundation on her bare face.
“As you can see I’m getting to be very good at this,” bragged Yap charmingly as he continued to apply concealer and so on. He also took time to share some of his “beauty tips” for guys, like applying sunblock, moisturizers, BB or CC cream before stepping out of the house.
Yap, or Sir Chief as he is fondly called, rose to fame in TV dramas like Binondo Girl and Be Careful with My Heart.
Ashley is the eldest of Yap’s two kids with wife Melody, to whom Yap has been married since 1993. Last Father’s day, Ashley paid tribute to him.
“I thank God everyday that I’ve been blessed with the best dad I could ever have!” she wrote on instagram. “Thank you for being the most caring, supportive, protective and loving dad that you are and for being the silliest (with the most corny jokes). I love you always and forever, daddy.”
