Popular for her work in TV shows Melrose Place, Charmed and Mistresses; actor Alyssa Milano dropped by on the Wendy Williams’ show to discuss how she lost the baby weight, and her role as a breastfeeding advocate.
The video begins with pleasantries exchanged between the two, but things soon get heated when the topic of the conversation shifts onto the Hollywood actor’s Instagram posts, which often featured her breastfeeding her children.

While on the topic, host and comedian Wendy Williams, notorious for her on-air spats with celebrities, criticizes Alyssa’s breastfeeding images.
Wendy shares on screen an image of Alyssa breastfeeding her daughter, and then asks her if she is surprised by the audience’s reaction to it.
“I was surprised by the reaction,” Alyssa admits. “It was kind of shocking that we were that opinionated about something that is so incredibly natural.”

Not one to mince her words, Wendy admits that she has an opinion about public breastfeeding.
“I don’t need to see that,” she says.
Alyssa then asks Wendy: “Would you eat under a blanket?
Wendy replies by saying that she would choose to breastfeed in a car instead of a big box store.
You can clearly tell that Alyssa found this answer ridiculous judging by her facial expression. “Why is it okay to show that picture of Miley Cyrus with two suspenders over her breasts?” she asks, and the audience applauds in agreement.
“Biologically, they are not made for sexual things. That’s what we have done to them.”
Trying to defend herself, Wendy says that women’s breasts are for sex for most of their lives; and breastfeeding, compared to that, is such a short time in a woman’s life.
“Biologically, they are not made for sexual things,” Alyssa rebuts. “That’s what we have done to them.”
Alyssa explained that the breastfeeding controversy is not a problem all over the world and said, “you’re lucky the baby isn’t here because I’d whip them out right here and feed her on your show!”
It’s refreshing to see someone in a position of power using her influence to advocate something she believes in, something that, just like she said, is incredibly natural.
