Carrot and avocado mask

Carrot and avocado mask

Avocados and carrots contain vitamins and oils that help moisturize your skin. Mash half an avocado with half a stick of carrot (grated). Add in a tablespoon of brown sugar and two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Mix well and apply to face. Feel the difference after 30 minutes.
Citrus mask

Citrus mask

Lemons and grapefruits are rich in citric acid and alpha hydroxy acid (AHA). They are natural exfoliators and antioxidants. Mix one teaspoon each of lemon and grapefruit juice with one egg white and two teaspoons of sour cream. This mask is perfect for oily skin.
Tomato exfoliotant

Tomato exfoliotant

Tomatoes contain lycopene – a powerful antioxidant that fights free radicals. Mash one large tomato with two teaspoons of brown sugar and half a teaspoon of honey. This mask will leave your face smooth and shiny.
Cinnamon cleanser

Cinnamon cleanser

Replace the chemical cleanser you use daily with something more natural like cinnamon. Add half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon, two teaspoon of milk powder, one tablespoon of freshly brewed chamomile tea and a quarter teaspoon of organic honey to a bowl and mix them well. Massage onto face for about 3 minutes. See the result for yourself.
Honey cleanser

Honey cleanser

It takes effort to attend to dry skin. Chemical cleansers might make it even worst. Try a more natural recipe with two teaspoon each of honey and almond oil mix with a quarter cup of whole milk. Use mixture as a cleanser for about 3 minutes. If the result is satisfying, say goodbye to your old cleanser.
Chamomile milk cleanser

Chamomile milk cleanser

Milk contains the vitamins and minerals that our skin needs to clear impurities. Mix a quarter cup each of cream and milk with two tablespoons of fresh chamomile. Use the mix as a cleanser.
Kiwi fruit cleanser

Kiwi fruit cleanser

Kiwi fruit cleans as well as it tastes. Mash one whole kiwi fruit with two tablespoon of plain yogurt, one tablespoon each of almond oil and honey, and one teaspoon of finely ground almonds. This recipe is suitable for dry skin.
Almond and milk moisturizer

Almond is an effective moisturizer for dry skin. Mix half a teaspoon of milk powder with a quarter teaspoon of sugar. Add in one teaspoon each of almond and warm water.
Aloe vera and honey mask

Aloe vera is our skin’s best friend especially when you have extra dry skin. Mix one teaspoon each of aloe vera gel and honey with one egg yolk. Beat the mixture together and use it as mask.
