Breast milk can be used as an ear treatment

Ear infections in babies often occur at age 6 to 18 months. It is also a common condition in adults. The antibodies found in breast milk make it a natural remedy to treat ear infections. All it takes is just three to four drops applied directly into the ear canal.

Breast milk can be used as an eye treatment

Conjunctivitis—be it viral, bacterial, or allergic—has been known to be effectively treated by the application of drops of breastmilk. Both moms and babies alike who are suffering from eye infections can benefit from breast milk a home remedy. It is important, however, to consult with your doctor first as it might irritate the eye further if not done correctly.

Breast milk can also be used a contact lens solution.

Breast milk can be used to soothe sore throat

Gargling or consuming breast milk can do wonders in easing the discomfort that comes with sore throat in newborns.

Breast milk can be used as an ointment for burns, itching, and stinging

Breast milk is a great disinfectant. Try a drop or two on areas that burn, itch or sting and you will find that it helps hasten healing. How does it work exactly? The antibodies found in breast milk as a sort of liquid shield, preventing germs and harmful bacteria from festering on wounds or injuries.

Breast milk can be used as a facial treatment

No need to break the bank to get the latest anti-acne solution, just dab on some breast milk to clear up skin. To use, just wash your face with water and then spread breast milk over your face, or on specific problem areas, then let it dry naturally without rinsing. If you want to use it as a cleanser, just apply all over your face then wipe dry using a clean cloth or towel.
