Why DMCI Homes condos are ideal for raising kids

Why DMCI Homes condos are ideal for raising kids

“During the lockdown, we could walk around the property and just enjoy discovering things like chasing after butterflies, catching bugs and insects because my children were really interested in that,” she related.

Just seeing their children get excited every day to play outdoors and meet their friends next door, homeowners in DMCI Homes’ Cedar Crest community know they made the right decision to invest in a unit a decade ago.

Located in Acacia Estates, Taguig City, the mid-rise condominium community was among the initial developments launched by DMCI Homes in the 150-hectare township project.

The project opened its doors to its first batch of residents in 2011 but it has preserved its allure as a nurturing community for raising kids and fostering family bonding, thanks to the efforts of the Property Management Office and DMCI Homes’ Enhancement Committee.

Safe and family-friendly

Having lived in the resort-themed, neo-Asian style community for the past 10 years, Cedar Crest unit owner, Farina Caunan, is thankful her investment turned out to be all that she wished for in a home—safe and family-friendly.

“During the lockdown, we could walk around the property and just enjoy discovering things like chasing after butterflies, catching bugs and insects because my children were really interested in that,” she related.

Relaxing environment

Another homeowner, Alden Raymund Ramos, is also beaming with pride with his DMCI Homes condo investment.

“It is well-maintained. You will not see any (piece of) trash outside. Trees line the streets. The ambiance is relaxing. It’s a first-class community,” said Alden who has lived in Cedar Crest for the past nine years.

The community is really good. Magandang kalakihan ng mga bata. Maganda ang environment,” he enthused.

Well-maintained

With this, both Farina and Alden are grateful for choosing a developer that is committed to promoting the well-being of residents even beyond project completion.

True to its commitment to continue supporting its projects, DMCI Homes formed an Enhancement Committee, which spearheads the renovation of amenities and facilities in ready-for-occupancy projects to ensure that they continue to be safe, family-friendly, well-maintained, and responsive to residents’ needs through the years.

New play area

One of the group’s projects is restoring Cedar Crest’s play area.

“What I like about the new playground is it is so clean and the colors are bright. Even the materials that they use, they’re really safe so I don’t have to worry that my kids will get injured while playing there,” she continued.

Alden is likewise impressed with the renovation work done by DMCI Homes’ Enhancement Committee.

“It’s very useful. We don’t have to go outside of the community especially since there is still the risk of getting the virus. Our community in Acacia is really good,” he explained.

Right decision

This makes Alden feel even prouder of his decision to invest in a unit in Cedar Crest.

“Definitely it’s worth the investment. It’s one of the best investments that I ever got into. We really did have a good ROI (return on investment) because we’re living in a good environment, especially for kids,” he revealed.

For Farina, there is no other greater proof that she made the right investment than seeing her children enjoy living in their community.

“I think I definitely got my money’s worth in investing in a property here in Acacia Estates. What I really like is my children are growing up in a safe and beautiful place and also able to build friendships with other children their age,” she beamed.

Cedar Crest is one of the developments of DMCI Homes, the country’s first Quadruple A real estate developer known for building quality resort-inspired communities in Mega Manila, Baguio City, Boracay, and Davao City. Each of its properties is built with world-standard craftsmanship borne from D.M. Consunji Inc.’s over 60 years of expertise in the construction and development industry.
