2 Children stuck in Naga after father abandons them

2 Children stuck in Naga after father abandons them

The 2 children are now currently stuck in Naga after their father took them on a bus from Cavite, and then abandoned them during the trip.

Two children, a young boy and a young girl, are currently under the care of the City Social Welfare Department (CSWD) of Naga. The pair were reportedly stuck in Naga after their father abandoned them.

How did the children get stuck in Naga?

The social worker handling the children’s case said that the two children were Alberto Demetrio, seven-years-old, and Genilyn Nomoso, six-years-old.

On the night of December 23, their father took them on a bus that was going from Cavite, to Naga. He promised them that they were going to go caroling once they arrived at their destination.

However, their father got off the bus and told them that he was going to buy some slippers. He never came back, and the children had no other choice but to go on the bus to Naga City.

They were found by a policeman

Once they were in Naga, the pair was found by a policeman who noticed that they were loitering in the bus terminal.

They were immediately taken to the CSWD of Naga so that they would be taken care of.

The children only want to return to their home in Cavite.

According to the children, their father’s name is Albert, and their mother’s name is Katrina. It is still unknown why the children have different last names.

For anyone who has information regarding the children’s identities, kindly get in touch with CSWD Naga through the following numbers:

(63)(54) 473-3723 or 473-5657

We are hoping that the children will be able to return safely to their home in Cavite.
