Kapuso actress Chynna Ortaleza has finally confirmed that she is pregnant. In an Instagram post on Mother’s Day, the soon-to-be mom is seen all glammed up, her hand protectively cradling her very prominent baby bump.
“Today is a special day for all the beautiful Mothers out there. I am blessed to be celebrating my first Mother’s day with my ever supportive and loving husband and family. These past months I was gifted with a role of a lifetime and I have been savoring every single day, recording each moment, making sure that everything is ingrained in memory. Preparing for my baby’s arrival was such a rewarding experience. I am grateful to all fellow moms who helped me along the way.
Recently, our family was rewarded with a beautiful gift of posterity. We only have one chance to secure our baby’s chord blood & umbilical cord lining. And if you ask me there is only one choice when it comes to entrusting these life saving stem cells. Thank you @cordlifephilippines for helping me make a “life” decision for our baby…”

Rumors of the pregnancy first surfaced in January when fans noticed what looked like a baby bump in one of her photos. On March 23, Chynna’s husband, Kean Cipriano, posted a photo on Instagram, where Chynna’s baby bump was even more apparent, prompting congratulatory messages to flood the account.

Aside from the photos showing a hint of a baby bump, Kean also alluded to the pregnancy as early as January.
“That will be another dream come true, but I can’t really dish out any details. I respect my wife and our decision as a couple…Very peaceful, happy. It’s a dream come true. The farthest we can go is that post in Instagram. Me and Chynna, we’ve talked about it. Anything regarding our personal lives and our family, we’d like to keep it to ourselves,” the Callalily vocalist said in a report on GMA News when asked about his wife’s pregnancy.

In April, Kean finally confirmed that he and Chynna are expecting their first baby. Chynna, however, kept mum about it.
Kean is a regular in the TV drama series Dolce Amore, and is also working on promoting his movie Echorsis.
