"Nang dahil sa pag-ibig..." goes a line from a popular Filipino song. They say love makes you crazy. And if you have been in love, you would agree with that statement wholeheartedly. But how far would you go to be with the person you love? What would you be willing to risk and sacrifice?
In one of the segments in our TAP community called #TAPAfterDark, our resident intrigera Mareng Tess posed the question: "Ano ang pinakabaliw na ginawa mo dahil sa pag-ibig?"
This topic got some of our moms reminiscing as they looked back on the craziest and some would dare say the stupidest things they ever did to show their love for someone.

We picked some of the best replies we got, ranging from cute teenybopper feels to the most heartbreaking ones. Let us share them with you and see if you can relate.
Sorry, friends
Starting with the lightest confessions, one mom shared that she used to ditch her friends' birthdays, but never missed a chance to make a move on her crush. Do you even remember the days when you would stay up all night to talk to the person you liked? Ah, young love.
Distance is not an issue
We also got a lot of replies about lying about their whereabouts and breaking house rules just to be with the one they love. But here's one who was really willing to go the distance (and travel 4 hours every day) just for a few moments of passion. Imagine all that travel time!
Love or career?
The stakes are getting higher this time. For one mom, being with the person she loves meant giving up on a promising career.
Against all odds
We thought this kind of thing only happens in movies, but it turns out one really does fall for the wrong guy. Tbh, some men are just jerks and this mom is really better off without them.
Crash and burn
While some moms did crazy things to profess their undying love or admiration for someone, other moms thought of crazy things to get past a painful relationship.
This girl had been so hurt by a breakup that she almost did the unthinkable. It's a good thing her family was there to help her get through it.
Meanwhile, this mom who had traumatic relationships with men swore them off and started playing for the other team, until the time came that she got hurt again.
Forbidden love
They say all is fair in love and war. But would it really be fair if you're taking the love that already belongs to someone else? These women learned their lesson the hard way.
But while there are some who made the mistake of being in an affair, there are some women who would do just about anything, even sacrifice their pride and dignity, to claim and protect what is theirs.
Was it all worth it?
How far would you go to protect a secret relationship? This mom was willing to pass through windows just to hide her relationship with a guy. To be fair, there was a lot at stake if they went public with it. And spoiler alert: their sacrifice paid off for they ended up together.
What can we say? The heart wants what the heart wants. And as the saying goes, if you haven't felt madness, then you haven't felt love.
As these confessions show, it's okay to be madly in love with someone. Don't we all want that kind of head-over-heels kind of love? But if you do, just make sure that that person is crazy for you too.
