The photos, which have been shared nearly 2,400 times in 24 hours, earned praise from many on Facebook.
But not everyone purely applauded the dad; some concerned netizens criticized the dangers the dad for choosing to babywear despite the many risks of the nature of his work, which involved carrying heavy loads of what seemed like rice or produce.

But more netizens lauded the father’s resourcefulness and devotion in caring for his son while working to provide for him.
The admins of the Facebook page Proud Pinoy first shared the photos with the caption:
“Bawat magulang ay handa gawin ang lahat ng bagay at sakripisyo para sa kapakanan ng kanilang mga anak, umaasa ako na sana may dumating na magandang blessings na magpapabago sa buhay nila balang araw. Don’t give up po tatay.”
(All parents are willing to give and sacrifice everything for the good of their children, I hope you are showered with beautiful blessings that will change their lives someday. Don’t give up, dad.)

Though many assumed the father in the viral photos lived in the Philippines, many netizens have been speculating that he might be Vietnamese. Regardless of his nationality, we can all agree that a father’s love and devotion is universally admirable.
