10 Easy homemade spa treatments for busy moms

Being a mom---whether you're a stay-at-home or working mom---is one of the toughest jobs out there.

Most moms lack the time, funds, or energy to pamper themselves.

But it's important to take time to relax and rejuvenate!

You don't need to get out of the house or spend a fortune at the spa.

Try these easy DIY at-home recipes using ingredients from your very own kitchen for a relaxing home spa experience!

Luxurious Milk Bath

Luxurious Milk Bath

Take some rosemary, dried mint, and orange peel and pour boiling water over them.

Allow it to cool before mixing it with dried milk.

Add to your bath tub under running water and rinse the milk off after a long, luxurious soak.

Papaya Face Mask

Papaya Face Mask

This mask reduces wrinkles and leaves you looking well-rested and fresh.

Just take about three tablespoons of blended papaya and mix with 1/3 cup of oatmeal and a tablespoon of honey.

Apply onto your face and leave for five to 10 minutes.

Rinse it off with warm water and you're done!

Relaxing Foot Soak

Relaxing Foot Soak

This at-home spa treatment is great for those who want to relax and detoxify.

Take a basin and fill it with warm water.

Add a cup of Epsom salt and two tea bags (chamomile and peppermint) then soak your feet for 30 minutes!

Honey Hair Pack

Honey Hair Pack

Honey has been known to be an excellent natural hair conditioner.

It locks in moisture, leaving locks super luscious.

Take half a cup of honey and massage into your hair.

Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes (you can cover your hair with a plastic shower cap).

Rinse your hair well with warm water.

Traditional Bubble Bath

Traditional Bubble Bath

Mix egg whites and a tablespoon of sugar with half a cup of liquid soap or shower gel.

Pour into your bath under running water and soak away!

This softens skin and leaves you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Fresh Strawberry Mask

Fresh Strawberry Mask

Strawberries contain salicylic acid which helps reduce stress-induced blemishes.

Take half a cup of fresh strawberries and mix it with one tablespoon of sour cream and two teaspoons of honey.

Then, spread it over your face and neck.

Leave on for 20 minutes.

Rinse off with cool water and then, dry your skin with a soft towel!

Lavender Spritzer

Lavender Spritzer

To make this, just mix two drops of lavender essential oil in a bottle of distilled water.

Keep it in the refrigerator for a few hours then spray onto your face and body for a soothing boost!

Super Muscle Soothing Soak

Mix baking soda with sea salt and Epsom salts and store in an airtight jar.

Pour half a cup of bath soak into a warm bath, under running water.

This deep-working relaxing bath is perfect after strenuous activity.

Avocado Oil Conditioner

Avocado Oil Conditioner

Avocado is another great natural hair conditioner.

Its effect is similar to "hot oil" salon treatments.

Mix a tablespoon of avocado oil, egg yolk, a tablespoon of honey and fresh lemon juice until smooth and creamy.

Massage into your hair and scalp and leave on for 15 minutes.

Rinse well.

Notice that this makes your hair soft and shiny!

Rosemary Body Treatment

Rosemary Body Treatment

To make this invigorating bath, you'll need a cup of fresh Rosemary, a bowl of water, a cup of Epsom salts, 2 teaspoons of olive oil and 12 drops of lavender essential oil.

Steep rosemary in boiling water for 30 minutes.

Using a dry brush or loofah, scrub your body to rid it of dead skin.

Take the rosemary infused water and strain it into a jug or bowl.

Then, add the Epsom salts and oil.

Complete the invigorating brew with drops of lavender oil and you're all set on the road to ultimate bath time relaxation!
