No good deed goes unrewarded. In the case of this selfless single dad, his sacrifice and love for his kids have made him a viral sensation when a photo of him and his two daughters was shared on social media.
Thankfully, some generous people have offered to help him and his family.
He survived a stroke, and is singlehandedly taking care of his daughters
Tatay Ryan, a stroke survivor and single dad living with his two daughters in the slums of Tondo, Manila, shared that he treated his daughters to a meal in a popular fast-food chain to celebrate his youngest daughter’s graduation celebration.
Since they didn’t have a lot of money to spare, he just bought food for his kids since he just wanted his kids to be happy and treat them to food that they usually don’t eat at home.
Thankfully, his good deed did not go unnoticed, and a local TV station has decided to help out the selfless father.
He was rewarded for his selflessness
Because of Tatay Ryan’s stroke, he was left limping and is struggling with movement on the right side of his body. Sadly, because they didn’t have enough money, he was unable to continue with the therapy that he needed after his stroke.
This is why as a part of his reward for being such a selfess dad, he will be having regular therapy sessions in order to get him back in tip-top shape so that he can provide for his family.
Additionally, he was finally able to eat at the popular fast-food chain where his viral story first started. While it might be something small for most people, for Tatay Ryan and his family, it means a lot to them to be able to enjoy something that we usually take for granted.
