LOOK: Fitness star and trainer proudly shows off her 'bad angles'

The newly married fitness star gets real about loving yourself--in all angles

Most of those who have been on a journey to lose weight have wished that they could finally post a before-and-after shot that will wow their social media followers.

This proof of progress in getting to one’s goal weight is usually shared to inspire others to achieve their own fitness goals.

But fitness trainer and Instagram star Anna Victoria is taking a different approach—well, at least for her latest photo.

Her mission? To prove that everyone–even fitness trainers like her—has both good angles and bad.

“Picture on the left was taken one week before the wedding,” Victoria wrote in the caption of the split photo. “And the picture on the right was taken … 2 minutes after! Somebody recently said to me that we all have our good angles and we all have our bad angles, so why do we let our bad angles carry so much more weight than our good angles?”

You girls requested for me to share this after posting on snap last week ???? Picture on the left was taken one day before the wedding and the picture on the right was taken… 2 minutes after! Someone recently said to me that we all have our good angles and we all have our bad angles, so why do we let our bad angles carry so much more weight than our good angles? If you focus on how bad you look in the bad angles, at least focus on how good you look in the good ones too!! ???????? “If you focus on how bad you look in the bad angles, at least focus on how good you look in the good ones too!” she continues in the post which has, so far, earned 60,000 likes.

The 27-year-old fitness star and creator of Fit Body Guides has nearly a million Instagram followers.

“You see all these women on Instagram and you don’t really know that they’re posed,” she tells TODAY. “Girls see that, and they think, ‘This is what that woman looks like 24/7.’ And that’s not true.”

She recently tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Rome, Italy, where she relocated with her husband Luca after living in California.

“For me, I’m posing, and then I go sit down, and I have this belly,” continued Victoria. “I almost feel like it’s not fair for girls to see pictures of me posed and then not know that when I sit down I look like a normal person. You can barely tell I have abs!”

Though she accepts that everyone will criticize her supposed “bad angles”, she clarifies that this is not the point.

“I’m not saying, boohoo, look at my bad angles,” she added. “It’s more about knowing that with pictures, there’s more than meets the eye, and that the pictures you see online are posed. It’s more about the message than it is about me.”
