To kick off the second year of the EU Organic Dairy PH campaign, the Danish Dairy Board (DDB) hosted the “From Pasture to Plate: Choose Organic European Dairy” launch event on August 13, 2024, at the Grand Hyatt Garden Pavilion. This event showcased the exceptional quality and sustainability of European organic dairy products through a series of tastings, engaging discussions, and educational sessions.
The event provided attendees with an in-depth look at the production process of organic dairy in Europe, highlighting the crucial role dairy plays in sustainable nutrition and the positive environmental impacts of organic farming practices.
Jo Sebastian, a registered nutritionist-dietician, emphasized the importance of making mindful food choices, stating, “In our journey toward better health and sustainability, it’s essential to choose foods that nourish us and respect the planet. Organic dairy, with its rich nutritional benefits, represents a powerful step toward a healthier and more sustainable future.”
Throughout the event, guests enjoyed a variety of delectable dishes made with European organic dairy products and gained valuable insights into food, health, and wellness from experts like Dr. Noel Lumbo of the National Organic Agriculture Board and pediatrician Dr. Joanna Cuayo-Estanislao. Mom influencer Kelly Misa also shared her personal journey of incorporating organic choices into her family’s lifestyle, offering both inspiration and practical tips.

Spreading the Goodness Across the Philippines
Following the success of the launch event, the EU Organic Dairy PH campaign will continue to bring the natural goodness of European organic dairy to Filipinos across Metro Manila and nearby provinces. From August 16, 2024, to January 2025, consumers can participate in product sampling activities at leading supermarkets and grocery stores, giving everyone the opportunity to taste the quality and flavor of European organic dairy from Denmark firsthand.
Additionally, the campaign will host VIP Consumer Classes in September 2024, offering a series of interactive and educational sessions. These classes will be a fun and engaging way for participants, including kids and families, to learn more about organic dairy from Europe while enjoying workshops, games, tasting sessions, and more.
Mr. Lars Witt Jensen, Senior Marketing Manager at the Danish Dairy Board, shared his enthusiasm for the campaign, stating, “We are thrilled to bring the message of organic European dairy to the Philippines. As more Filipinos prioritize their health and the planet, we hope to empower them with the knowledge and benefits of choosing organic dairy. Our goal is to highlight the nutritional value of these products and their role in promoting sustainable practices and animal welfare.
