5 funny things that Pinoy moms say when they're mad!

5 funny things that Pinoy moms say when they're mad!

Let's face it, Pinoy moms can get really scary when they're mad. Though, the things they say when they're mad sometimes don't make a lot of sense.

1. “Ano ba yan!? Lagi kayong nag-aaway, magsaksakan na lang kayo!”

via GIPHY

Obviously, moms who say this don’t literally mean that they want you and your siblings to hurt each other. Though, it’s pretty strange that almost all moms have said this at least once when they’re fed up with their kids constantly fighting!

And yeah, once your mom says this, you obviously have to stop fighting. Pinoy moms can get really scary when they’re angry!

2. “Nako, kapag di mo nakita, makikita mo!”

via GIPHY

Yep, when your mom says this, it means that you should look harder to find what you’re looking for, or face the wrath of an angry mom.

Oddly enough, whenever my mom tells me this, I suddenly find what I’m looking for. Maybe there’s some strange mom magic at work here. Who knows?

3. “Sige, gawin mo, pero bahala ka sa buhay mo”

via GIPHY

Pinoy moms can sometimes be the queens of passive aggressiveness. And you know that whenever your mom tells you “Bahala ka sa buhay mo,” it means that you’re free to do whatever you want, but you most certainly have to do what your mom wants.

It’s pretty much a losing situation, so it’s really better to just listen to your mom if she says this.

4. “Nako, yan kasing anak mo, ang tigas ng ulo!”

via GIPHY

Isn’t it strange that whenever you do something wrong, your mom seems to immediately disown you, and then passes off the responsibility to your dad?

Well, the moral of the story is, be a good kid, and your mom won’t disown you!

5. “Bakit hindi ka sumasagot?” and “Sumasagot ka na ha?!”

via GIPHY

Yup, it’s another one of those “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” type of situations. If you answer back, you get hit with “Aba, sumasagot ka na ha?!”. On the other hand, if you just keep quiet, they’ll say “Ano, bakit hindi ka sumasagot?!”

Either way, you’re on the losing end here, so it’s best to not do anything that would make your mom angry.

But we still love our moms, no matter how angry they get!

At the end of the day, even if our moms might seem a bit crazy, we still love ’em to bits! After all, they took care of us when we were kids, and they sacrificed a lot for us. So here’s to you moms!
