As a Filipino parent, running around to get everything done is nothing new! It's no wonder you get leg pain. Relax & pamper yourself with these treats!

Give your legs a break: Pamper them with these tricks and services!

Give your legs a break: Pamper them with these tricks and services!

There aren't enough hours in a day! With all that a mom has to do, it's a shame that we can't allot a hour or two in between activities to let our poor legs rest! Don't worry though, here are a few tips for taking care of those tired legs.
Stay moisturized with olive oil

Stay moisturized with olive oil

Give your legs the TLC that they need via a massage using extra virgin olive oil (EVOO). The olive oil has vitamin E which helps in keeping your legs moisturized. When applying, make sure you do so in a circular motion from your ankles to your thighs as to help improve your blood circulation and to prevent cellulite.
Show your feet some TLC!

Show your feet some TLC!

While taking care of your legs, don’t forget to move further down and show your feet some love! Try out this Peppermint Foot Lotion that not only helps soften calluses, but will leave your feet feeling smooth and invigorated!

Burt’s Bees products may be purchased at Rustan’s and Beauty Bar.
Wage war against varicose veins!

Wage war against varicose veins!

Moms are susceptible to varicose veins, especially if pregnant or overweight. In an effort to prevent this, you can either wear compression socks that will aid in your leg’s blood circulation and/or practice self-care (exercise and avoid standing for long periods of time).

You can also make use of Antistax (available in leading drugstores). Antistax’s main ingredient is the red vine leaf extract, which promotes healthy leg vein circulation, preventing leg fatigue and unsightly varicose veins.
Get a pedicure!

Get a pedicure!

Prettify your toes with a well-deserved pedicure. Most nail salons offer packages that not only entail beautiful nail polish, but foot spa services and foot massages as well. So sit back and relax, after all, you deserve it! Try heading on over to Make Me Blush is located at Hemady Square Unit 303 86 Dona Hemady Street Corner E. Rodriguez Ave., Quezon City. It’s open daily from 10 am to 8 pm.
Stay toned with exercise

What?! After all that's been mentioned, you still have to exercise?! Yes, ladies. You do. The good news is you don't have to walk or run to get toned! You can always opt to go either swimming or cycling to keep your legs (and the rest of your body) in shape.
