A quick thinking and fast acting dad is earning praise online for how he saved two kids from being hit by a speeding vehicle. A video of the amazing rescue has been making the rounds online.
The clip starts with the man hunched over a motorcycle, fixing something, when two kids started walking behind him. Suddenly, a blue car came rushing towards them.
In what seems to be a split-second, the man lunges and manages to grab the kids. He flips backward, still holding on to them, and manages to yank them out of the car’s path. The car then came to a stop and bystanders rushed to check on the man and the two kids. Thankfully, none of them were harmed.
It is unclear why the car was speeding out of control or where the incident took place. The CCTV footage was first shared on WinViral.ph’s facebook page on December 23.
As of this writing, it has been viewed 2.2 million times and shared 63,000 times.

Based on comments, one of the kids was the heroic man’s own son. Thousands of netizens have heaped praise on the fast-acting dad, praising his “ninja-like” reflexes.
What should you do when you find yourself around cars?
As parents, being alert when we’re out with our kids in public or traveling is truly second nature.
Here are some safety tips to keep kids safe around cars and other vehicles:
Make sure to know where your kids are before moving your car.
Remind kids that even parked vehicles can move and that even though they can see the driver, the driver may not always see them.
Always set the emergency brake when you park.
Hold your kid’s hand when alighting from a vehicle or when boarding one.
Teach them not to play near any vehicles, and not to go near a busy street.
