Alexandra was born almost a year ago. While it’s always nice to know that a baby is growing up happy and healthy, the real reason we’re discussing this adorable little bundle of joy is because when she was only three weeks old, Alexandra nearly broke the internet.
You may be wondering how a 3-week-old baby found a way to be trending on Instagram, and the short answer is this: her mom, Jen, had the genius idea to compare Alexandra to random household objects.
The results were hysterical, and absolutely adorable.

Adorable so far, right? Jen, Alexandra’s mom, agrees. That’s why she started the hashtag #WeeBabyVS to show her adorably cute and tiny daughter versus random objects.
While Jen and her family make the most of Alexandra’s size, the real reason this “wee baby” is so tiny is because when Jen was pregnant she suffered from a clotting disorder and a history of Intrauterine Fatal Demise (IUFD). In fact, during one of her earliest ultrasounds with Alexandra, doctors had told her that there was an abnormal problem with her child. She asked them to explain what was wrong and they told her that there was “basically a placenta doughnut” that had wrapped around her baby.
By 35 weeks, problems persisted and doctors suggested that she be induced by 37 weeks. Thankfully, the premature baby was born with no complications. When Jen held little Alexandra for the first time, she was five pounds, seven ounces and eighteen and ¾ inches long. Though tiny, Alexandra is a fighter and her mom wanted to remember and celebrate her size for many years.
