Sex between couples doesn’t last for as long as you might think, according to an article from Men’s Health.
You’ll be surprised at the results!
Based on information collected from 432 couples and over 2000 sexual encounters through an app called Lovely, sex between couples usually lasts for about 12 minutes on average.
This might seem like a short span of time, but the app doesn’t take things such as foreplay, or sexual positions into consideration, so the actual span of time could possibly be longer or even shorter than 12 minutes.
However, what this means is that sex really doesn’t last for as long as most people think. The important thing to remember is that both you and your partner are satisfied with each other during sex, then there’s nothing to worry about!
However, if you’re worried about your performance in bed, here are some tips to help you out!
- Erogenous zones – Erogenous zones such as the neck, legs, and back, are areas of the body that become sensitive and can help when it comes to sexual stimulation. Massage is a good way to rev up those zones and get both you and your partner in the mood.
- Oral sex – For those who are a bit more adventurous or looking for something new, oral sex, particularly on women, is a good way to stimulate them into orgasm.
- Don’t be afraid to try new things – Feel free to try different positions or methods of foreplay so that the both of you can be more comfortable during sex. There’s nothing wrong with trying things out!
- Communication is key – Don’t be afraid to tell your partner what you like, or what you don’t like. It’s important to be open to telling your partner your needs as well as asking your partner what their needs are when it comes to sex.
