No matter how much you get ready before the big day, nothing can really prepare you for motherhood.

Sleepless nights. Times when she’s extra clingy. Juggling work while taking care this little boo. Crying for no reason. Times when you can’t even comb your hair. Times when she’s really testing my patience.

Let me tell you this, it will never be easy. But I guess, this is what makes us stand out above the rest.

Sleepless mama, but will always be up early to prepare a lovely breakfast for the family. That feeling when you are the ‘go-to person’ of your little one whenever she’s not feeling well.

A multitasker who’s always on top at work while being a full time mama. Your hubby telling you how gorgeous you are after a very tiring day. When you’re about to lose it, but that lovely smile from your little one melts you away.

Again, it is not easy. But I’m definitely loving every bit of it, and I will never trade this for anything else (maybe just an 8-hour sleep tho lol).

Kidding aside, motherhood really changed me into a person I’ve never thought I’m capable of.

I’m not a perfect mom… But I’m trying to be the best version of myself for my little one.

To all the lovely first time moms out there please know that it’s ok to rest.

It’s ok to prioritize yourself sometimes.

It’s ok to take a break.

It’s ok to cry.

It’s ok to lose it sometimes.

We are still humans after all, we are not perfect. We can’t do everything all at once. But what’s important is, you know how to pick yourself up and continue to fight.

So if you’re feeling down, please remember, “You are loved. You are brave. You are amazing.”
