Have your kids experience being snack engineers for a day!

2 min read
Have your kids experience being snack engineers for a day!

KidZania Manila delivers another learning experience for kids this 2020. Now, they can discover how snacks are prepared, cooked, and packaged in the newly improved snack factory.

The premier play city continues to bring out the fun for kids with more than 90 roleplaying activities and at Jack ‘n Jill Snack Factory, the young ones will surely enjoy the entire process of making snacks.

Youngsters will take on the “Snack Engineers” role and embark on an adventure. This will start at the sanitation chamber which ensures a clean factory environment. Then kids will proceed to the actual snack-making process. This starts at the beginning where they turn raw ingredients such as potato and corn into powder form.

The kids then pour the powder into the mixing chamber along with water to create fresh dough. Afterwards, they flatten it using special cutters. Then, they place it inside the cooking and drying chambers then season and flavor it at the packaging station.

Through this activity, the power of play also surfaces as kids develop a keener sense of coordination and following directions to produce good results, while also integrating fun in the process.

“In our city, kids learn just how fun life truly can be with the adult role as they explore, as they experience and enjoy it through different work and careers for them. . . . After all, it’s these kids who grow up to shape and mold the world, and it starts with them having fun as they do just that.” This statement by Ikey Canoy truly opened the eyes of the attendees during the event.
