Actress Jessica Alba welcomed her third child, and first son, on New Year's eve!

While the world celebrated the new year, actress and entrepreneur Jessica Alba gives birth to her third child: and first son – with husband Cash Warren to welcome 2018!

The 36-year-old mum first took to Instagram to share the joyful news of her pregnancy back in July 2017.

Jessica Alba gives birth to bouncing baby boy!

“Hayes Alba Warren 12/31/17 Best gift to ring in the New Year!! Cash and I feel so blessed,” she wrote alongside an adorable photo of the latest addition to their growing family.

“Haven and Honor are already obsessed with their new baby bro,” wrote the mum, who proudly announced that they are now a family of five.

There’s no doubt his big sisters Haven Garner, six, and Honor Marie, nine, will absolutely dote on their baby brother!

The first babies of 2018

Aside from Jessica and Cash, other mums and dads welcomed 2018 with a bang!

In Singapore, four babies were born on New Year’s eve.

Baby boy Nas Muhammad Niklas was born at Raffles Hospital.

At Mount Alvernia, baby girl Abbie How was born, after her mum underwent 14 hours of labour.

A baby boy named Liam Koh was born in Thomson Medical Centre, while a still unnamed  baby girl was born at KK Women’s and Children’s hospital.

Over in Hong Kong, an overjoyed couple welcomed their first baby eight seconds after midnight.

The first U.S. baby was born in Guam to Jennica Lynch and Davante Perez just two seconds after midnight struck.

Their bouncing baby boy Logan James Lynch Perez was born at 6-lb and 15-oz.
