Jodi Sta. Maria makes it to the Dean’s List!

The 35-year-old actress shared a photo of herself on Instagram, holding a certificate that shows she made it to the Dean's List!

Actress Jodi Sta. Maria proved that her abilities aren’t limited to acting on camera when she shared a photo of her proudly holding a certificate for making it to the Dean’s List!

Jodi Sta. Maria: “Never stop learning!”

The actress is currently taking up BS Psychology at the Southville International School and Colleges in Las Piñas City.

She added that juggling schoolwork and show business wasn’t easy, but she’s proud that she made it to the Dean’s List.

“I’m proud of myself for pulling through and I hope this inspires you to just keep going and never stop learning!

“It’s never easy but that makes the journey of learning more beautiful and interesting,” the actress wrote on her social media post.

“They allowed me to pursue my dreams”

The actress explained that she had always wanted to finish her studies: “It really all started with this dream that I never let go of. Siyempre dumating ako sa point ng life ko wherein I decided to pursue that dream.”

“And then once that I have decided, I really made time for school.

“I know that my work will always be here and siyempre hindi mo rin naman maiaalis yon, hindi ba?

“So it’s really about finding your time to do something that you like and fighting for that time.”

She also mentioned that ABS-CBN “allowed” her to pursue her dreams.

Jodi also wants to finish her studies in order to be an inspiration to her son, Thirdy.

“Oo naman, kasi kumbaga, kahit paano, yung anak ko rin talaga ang nagiging inspirasyon ko.

“Siyempre as a mother, I want be able to be his example,” Jodi shares.
