Jollibee has a way of winning the hearts of children and parents alike. Maybe it’s their lovable mascot, their crispy-licious chickenjoy (with gravy!), the Filipino-style spaghetti, or a combo meal of all those plus the happy Jollibee memories that we share with our loved ones.
A collection of these true-story-inspired videos have been posted and is going viral. Each story resonates with us because they capture every Filipino family’s experience so well.
Kwentong Jollibee (Jollibee stories)
The collection is introduced by Mags Soliman who has worked at Jollibee for over 20 years. She recalls starting out as a young shift manager and witnessing countless of moments that show just how Jollibee has made the lives of Filipinos more joyful.
Here’s the video:
Jabee
As she mentions, the first story is about a toddler. Most of the time, moms have to interpret what their young child is saying so that other people can understand. Admittedly, there are times when even we have a hard time deciphering their words.
For the new parents out there, trust us, this will be one of your baby’s first words too.

Tagpuan (Meeting place)
Few instances are as scary as losing a kid. So when one mom discovers that her child is nowhere to be found, we feel her anxiety. Luckily, this mom prepared her son well and taught him where to go if they ever get separated.
We can only hope that our child has the same presence of mind as hers if we find ourselves in the same situation!

Almusal (Breakfast)
The last video recounts the story of an elderly couple who have breakfast at Jollibee every morning. They even choose the same table.
As American author Kurt Vonnegut once said, “Enjoy the little things in life because one day you’ll look back and realize they were the big things.”
Consciously spending “idle” time together as a couple (idle means not discussing or making decisions about the house or the kids) keeps the love alive. Some make time for pillow talk, others plan date nights; what’s important is starting and sustaining the habit.
