Judy Ann Santos and Kim Kardashian are both pregnant and expecting to give birth soon but that isn’t just what the two stars have in common.
They both shared that their babies are in breech position. This means that the baby’s head is facing upwards, not facing down. Both women are doing what they can to turn their babies and avoid undergoing a C-section, which is how most breech babies are delivered.

Judy Ann’s Gymnastics
Juday posted on her Instagram account how she is trying to get her baby daughter to turn by doing headstands.
Many fans were worried that the position would harm the baby or mother.
Juday was touched by how many were concerned about their well-being but assured them, “It is totally safe most specially kung suhi ang baby (the baby is breech). The pose alone allows the baby to move to its proper position. When doing headstands you must be supervised by professionals.”
Judy Ann added, “Hindi ko po sya ginawang mag isa, don’t worry.” (I don’t do it by myself.) She is 34 weeks pregnant at the moment and we hope that baby Luna will get into the correct position soon.”
Kim is trying… Everything!
On the other side of the world, Kim K’s pregnancy is further along at 37 weeks. She shared in this article the various methods that she is using to get her baby son to turn:
- Intensive chiropractic work
- Lying practically upside down three times a day for 15 minutes
- Playing music in the right position
- Icing my belly in certain spots to get him to squirm out of the breech position
- Accupuncture where I burn moxa (mugwort; in Tagalog, this is known as “damong-maria”) on my pinky toe every day
- Hypnosis!
- External Cephalic Version
Happily, all that hardwork and determination paid off. Kim announced that the last method she tried (ECV) did the trick. She shared how doctors carefully maneuvered her baby from the outside and also noted that it was painful – “This was soooooo painful. Probably more painful than childbirth.”
We are all hoping for a smooth complication-free delivery for both moms and cannot wait to see their babies!
