April 26 marked a special day for kids from the Asociacion de Damas de Filipinas as they became a part of the McDo Kiddie Crew.
They had the time of their lives!
The kids from Asociacion de Damas de Filipinas were joined by mommy bloggers and their lovely chikitings during the Kiddie Crew workshop.
They were given an official Kiddie Crew shirt as well as a cap for their uniform, a chef’s hat, their own ID, and an apron.
They also got to experience how it’s like to be a part of the McDonald’s crew; from greeting the customers that visit their restaurant, as well as preparing the food for the customers, the kids really had the time of their lives!

It’s a great way to learn values
2017 marks the 25th year of the McDonald’s Kiddie Crew, and the workshop aims to give children the opportunity to work in a restaurant and learn the values of teamwork, hard work, discipline, responsibility, and sharing.
The activities that the kids did included the Make-Your-Own cheeseburger, Drive-Thru, front counter experience, and even the fun and delicious Make-Your-Own dessert activity!
It got a bit messy, especially when the kids had to pour delicious syrup on their ice cream sundaes, but who cares? Being a kid means having fun, even if you get messy sometimes.
TheAsianParent Philippines and the McDo Kiddie Crew is glad to have given the kids of Asociacion de Damas de Filipinas a day full of fun, friendship, good times, and good food. Hopefully, it can be one of the most memorable days of their lives!
All children deserve the right to have a family
The Asociacion de Damas de Filipinas is a child care facility that takes care of abandoned, neglected, orphaned, foundling, and dependent children who need special care.
Through them, the children can either be re-integrated with their families, or placed with another family who will take care of them and nurture them.
