Lindsay Custodio nagluluksa parin sa pagkawala ng asawa at pinipilit maging malakas para sa mga anak niya.

Anim na buwan na ang lumipas matapos biglang pumanaw ang mister ng dating Ang TV star na si Lindsay Custodio—si former Vice Mayor ng Tanuan, Batangas na si Julius Caesar Platon II.
Ayon sa reports ay inatake umano sa puso si Platon habang nagmamaneho sa SLEX noong November 19, 2018. Naisugod pa siya sa ospital ngunit naging huli na at tuluyang binawian ng buhay ng parehong araw.
Magmula noon ay pinili ni Lindsay na manahimik at isa-pribado ang pagluluksa niya at kaniyang pamilya.
At nito nga lang May 31 ay saka palang nagpaunlak sa isang interview si Lindsay. Ito ay sa PEP.ph para ibahagi ang nararamdaman niya tungkol sa pagkawala ng asawa.
Kasama ang dalawang anak nila ni former Vice Mayor Platon, sa ngayon ay patuloy parin daw silang nagmove-on sa nangyari bagamat napakahirap nito para sa kanila. Ito ang kaniyang mga sinabi.
“By God’s grace, the kids and I are ok. I am trying to stay strong for my children.”
“It’s very hard to be without my husband Julius, but I have no choice but to accept the reality that he’s gone.”
“They say that there’s a reason for everything, and that everything happens according to God’s will. I couldn’t understand the reason why but I trust and believe in the Lord. I surrendered everything to Him and to Our Lady.”
Mahigit tatlong buwan matapos pumanaw ang asawa ay makikita sa kaniyang Instagram account ang isang mensahe ni Lindsay sa mga nakipagluksa at sumama sa kanila sa panahon ng pagkawala ng mister.

He has blessed me so much with a love like no other and I will forever be grateful for the time I was given with my beloved Julius. His sudden passing has left an irreplaceable void in our lives but we find comfort in knowing he has returned into the arms of our Creator. During his time here with us he was the most kindhearted, loving, and amazing husband, father, son, brother, and friend. His legacy will forever live on in all the wonderful things he’s done in service not only for his family but also as a public servant. I’d like to thank everyone for respecting our family’s need for privacy in this most difficult time and for all your prayers, words of comfort and loving kindness. We are always so grateful.

Ngunit kamakailan lang muling naging public ang Instagram account ni Lindsay na kung saan makikita rin na buwan-buwan ay inaalala niya ang pagkawala ng mister.
Sa isa sa kaniyang mga recent post ay makikita ang isang quote na nagsasabing “Pain is never permanent” mula kay St.Teresa of Avila. Ito umano ang nagrereflect sa naramdaman ng aktres ngayon at ng kaniyang mga anak.
Ngayong taon sana ang 19th wedding anniversary nina Lindsay at kaniyang asawa. Sila ay ikinasal noong December 2000. Mayroon silang dalawang anak na sina Sean at Reese Platon.
