Stylish mom Liz Uy says motherhood is her 'best accomplishment'

The successful celebrity stylist is now a stylish momma! Find out how having her adorable baby boy changed her life, below.

After Liz Uy’s baby Xavi made his adorable Instagram debut, it sent the star stylist’s fans into a frenzy.

Unless you’re within her social circle then you probably had no idea she was pregnant. (And now it all makes sense that she was absent from one of her BFFs Anne Curtis’ gorgeous destination wedding.)

Liz Uy’s baby truly changed her life: “I don’t really think only of myself anymore”

In an interview with Preview, the 36-year-old style icon shared how being a mom has changed her life.

“I don’t really think of myself anymore. Every time I do anything, I think of Xavi first,” she shares in the interview.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the multi-hyphenate celebrity stylist — who’s also an editor, creative director and entrepreneur — opens up about motherhood once again.

“It’s, I think, the most… the best accomplishment I’ve ever done in my life,” said the first-time mom.

Naturally, many are dying to see more photos of Liz Uy’s baby Xavi. But the stylish mum still seems to prefer to keep these and other details to herself.

Though hundreds of comments and questions have poured in on her popular social media accounts, she believes she has every right to filter what she reveals.

“Bahala sila whatever they want to think din. I’m not naman answerable to anyone,” she explains.

Though Liz and Xavi are living in the public eye, they still have a right to privacy.

From IT girls to IT mums

Another IT girl is about to welcome her first baby into the world — actress and model Isabelle Daza.

After announcing her pregnancy in September 2017 and sharing her baby’s first sonogram shortly after, she opened up about her pregnancy journey in a series of Instagram posts.

Isabelle shared that she has been doing prenatal yoga to help improve sleep and the muscle endurance needed for giving birth.

But she also confesses that it’s not always easy, which is something moms-to-be can surely relate to.

“[Four hours of] sleep every night, feeling so heavy all the time, constant bathroom breaks, tired during midday, shortness of breath, cramps, swelling,” she shares in an Instagram post.

“All I can say my love for my mother has exponentially gone up since pregnancy,” she continues. “The struggle is real!! How do women do this more than once?”

Just recently, friends and family of the 30-year-old soon-to-be momma threw her a sportsfest-themed baby shower!

IT girl turned IT mommas Liz Uy and Georgina Wilson were also in attendance as well as their closest friends, including Anne Curtis, Erwan Heusaff, Ruffa Gutierrez, Drew Arellano, Iya Villania, Wil Dasovich, Alodia Gosiengfiao, Raymond Gutierrez, Jake Cuenca, and many others.

The fun-filled event, which was held at the Manila Polo Club, involved jousting, planking, running sprints, and Spartan-like obstacle courses.

The first-time mom is due to give birth any day now. We can’t wait to meet Isabelle and Adrien’s little athlete!
