Pink, pink, pink was the color of the day as Diana Zubiri and her husband Andy Smith celebrated their parenthood.
Zubiri and Smith, who are expecting their first child together, shared their joy with close family and friends in a baby shower on June 5.
Zubiri will be giving birth to a daughter, Aliyah Rose, sometime in July.
The celebration was held at Mom and Tina’s Bakery Cafe in Quezon City. The occasion, which was documented by Nice Photography, was made even more memorable by some of the couple’s closest showbiz friends.
Guests were treated to cupcakes and got to take home adorable throw pillows with a small crown atop a big, pink letter A in the center.
Here are a few photos from the event as shared by Zubiri on her Facebook account:

Proud mother of two
This is Zubiri’s second pregnancy. The actress gave birth to her first son in 2009 from her first marriage with Alex Lopez. Lopez, however, passed away two years after the wedding.
Zubiri has been accused of keeping her first son a secret, but the actress said that that was never her intention. In fact, she was still active in the comedy show Bubble Gang until she was 6 months pregnant.
According to an article by Jojo Gabinete on the Philippine Entertainment Portal, Zubiri kept her son from the public eye to protect him from bashers. She feared people would ridicule her son, who was born with a cleft lip and palate.
Her son has undergone two operations to date, and is set to undergo another operation for his condition.
Zubiri couldn’t be prouder of her son, whom she revealed is a first-honor student at the Ateneo de Manila University.
