Sa huli ay nagpasalamat si Maxene sa Mahal na Birheng Maria dahil naramdaman umano niya ang divine energy nito na siyang nagpakalma sa kaniya. Gayundin nagpasalamat siya sa Diyos dahil patuloy siyang pinadadalhan nito ng signs na gumagabay sa kaniya upang magpatuloy.

Matatandaan na ngayong taon din ay ibinahagi ni Maxene sa publiko na siya ay may mental health condition na tinatawag na complex post-traumatic stress disorder o CPTSD.

Kasalukuyan siyang nasa proseso ng pagpapagaling. Isa mga ginagawa niyang therapy ay ang pagyo-yoga at meditation. Mas pinatitibay din umano niya ang kaniyang ugnayan sa Panginoon.  Malaking tulong din ang pagmamahal at suporta ng kaniyang pamilya at mga kaibigan.
