This mommy has an important message for burned out moms

"We aren't invincible. We're humans and we're mothers" Read more about this mother's encouraging message here!

Mel Watts, founder of the parenting blogspot The Modern Mumma, has important message for all of the stressed out moms out there: you’re not perfect, and that’s more than okay.

In recent post to her Facebook account, this wise mommy assured mothers from all across the globe who feel burned out that, “It’s okay to have days that you don’t feel good enough.”

“We aren’t invincible. We’re humans and we’re mothers,” she added in her powerful and encouraging Facebook post.

What led this mother to share her thoughts on the matter? Apparently, after having her third child, she dealt with the toughest 9 months she had ever faced. “In the last 9 months I have never slept so little in my life. In the last nine months I have suffered my worst anxiety I have ever experienced,” she wrote. “Having a new baby is exhausting and life just doesn’t stop.”

For Watts, the best way to face and conquer her problems was to get them off her chest and out in the open. In an interview with The Huffington Post, the brave mommy said, “People like to share their baby’s milestones and others don’t like to share anything, but I’m okay to share it all.”

In opening up about the realistic and honest sides of motherhood, crippling anxiety included, Watts aims to share the message that it’s “normal to not be on top of it all,” with fellow parents.

Since sharing her powerful message through Facebook, the post has garnered over 46,000 likes and 12,000 shares! Truly encouraging stuff from a brave, and courageous mother.

Keep your heads up, parents. Remember that you’re not expected to be perfect, just to be the best that can be for you and your family.
