Find out if drugs and music strongly related
Did you know that music can influence your kids actions? Research has proven that what your kids listen to can actually determine what they will do in the future. According to a study conducted by researchers from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, teens who listen to music that talks about marijuana are most likely to use the drug.
Among those included in the study, more than thirty percent have already tried the substance. Researchers discovered that most of the participants listened to more than 20 hours of music per week, and heard about forty lyrics referring to marijuana per day.
The explanation here is simple, the more you listen to something, the greater the chances that it will affect your life. So if kids listen to lyrics pertaining to marijuana often, then I won’t be surprised if they end up using the substance. So my suggestion to parents: start monitoring your children’s music preferences more rigidly.
