Kids Acts Philippines (Kapi) kicks off its 19th season with “Maria Makiling, the Musical”, based on the famous Philippine legend written by Jose Rizal. The musical, running from October 2024 to April 2025. It tells the enchanting love story of Maria Makiling and Juan, a farmer from the foot of Mount Makiling.
The production features beautiful sets, costumes, and original music composed by Eugene Belbis. Also with Luigi Nacario as the director, choreographer, and costume designer. The cast includes Hya Leonado, Kris Robles, Mirriam Reyes as Maria Makiling, and Jared Balling as Juan, among others.
