Actress Neri Naig is truly living up to her “Wais na Misis” title. The mom-to-be, who’s well into her third trimester, is keeping busy and productive with her latest business venture.
A little over a year ago, she discovered how to make gourmet tuyo. “Biruin mo, nagsimula lang sa pag experiment tapos nagustuhan ng mga kaibigan ko tapos nagrerequest na sila. Ngayon, mas iniimprove ko yung recipe,” she wrote in a recent Instagram post.
She then began selling gourmet tuyo online as well as in various food bazaars. Today, her business has gained quite the following, starting with her official instagram account and spawning several other reseller instagram accounts, customized for various within Metro Manila and its surrounding provinces.
Their bestsellers include original and spicy tuyo which can be eaten with rice or as an added ingredient to spruce up pasta dishes.

In one of her recent posts, Neri shared that she’s also added veggies to her popular recipe. “Mas dinamihan ko pa ng mga vegetables kase yun din ang special request ng iba at mas anghangan ko pa daw, hehe. Naglagay na po ako ng napakaraming sili,” wrote the mom-to-be.
Just a week ago, she happily announced that they have started shipping internationally.
The hardworking expectant mom works hard to accomodate all the needs of her resellers. “Maagang gumising si buntis para makarami ng sales, hehe! Alam nyo na kase malapit na akong maging ganap na nanay kaya work work lang,” wrote Neri in the caption of a recent bare-faced selfie.
“Sa sobrang dami kasing nag iinquire sa gourmet tuyo, tutulungan ko na si Jen, my assistant, na sumagot sa mga inquiries. Ok naman pakiramdam ko now kaya pwede akong magtrabaho at tumulong,” wrote Neri. In the same post, she also shared that she’s ventured into selling beddings and pillowcases.
