Neri Naig is about to enter her third trimester of pregnancy, but her belly is still as smooth and flawless as ever! The actress recently shared a photo of her baby bump on Instagram, and not a single stretch mark could be seen!
(I am about to enter the third trimester, and I am so excited! I feel like my tummy will suddenly bloat once I reach the 8th month. Just like my older sister, who suddenly gets big once she reaches the 8th month.)
(So I always put oil! But I can already see the veins on my chest and tummy!)
Pregnancy chronicles
Neri excitedly shared her pregnancy journey with her Instagram followers.
The expectant mom shared how, during her second trimester, she began to experience the many discomforts of pregnancy, particularly nausea and sensitivity to smells and food.
“Nung second trimester, marami na akong di tinatanggap na food. Ayaw ko na ng amoy ng seafood. As in hilo at duwal ako,”
(In my second trimester, I was already rejecting lots of food. I didn’t like the smell of seafood. I got dizzy and felt like puking.)
“May ayaw akong amoy na detergent, bahong baho ako.”
(I didn’t like the smell of detergent, it made me so dizzy.)
(My stomach rejected avocado, I would really puke. I ate avocado thrice, and I vomited thrice.)
(I don’t like the smell of sauteed tomato and onion. I would get super dizzy! Chito loves fish sauteed with fresh tomatoes.)

Neri also revealed that Chito once had to rush her to the hospital after her stomach reacted to bagoong balayan (shrimp paste).
(I was hospitalized because I was puking and about to faint from so much pain.)
(I really thought I was about to go into labor because of the excruciating pain. I could hardly stand. It’s a good thing my husband was there to rush me to the hospital. Good thing the baby was ok.)
Strong baby
“Kahapon, sobrang likot ni baby! Panay sipa! Neri Naig shared in a recent Instagram post.
(Yesterday, the baby was so active! Always kicking! My body ached, I was so tired. Chito kept on talking to our baby, and the baby would answer with kicks!)
Grateful for Chito
(Mothers who don’t experience difficult pregnancies are lucky, and their husbands are even luckier…)
(I really appreciate the patience, effort, and sleeplessness of Chito whenever I don’t feel well. He is my private nurse.)
This is the second pregnancy for Neri. She miscarried in July 2015.
