She cared about her children the most. According to the brother of Jakatia Pawa, the OFW and mother-of-two who was executed in Kuwait for allegedly killing her employer’s daughter, her sister always thought about her children until the end.

Her children might not know about what happened

According to him, Jakatia leaves behind 2 children, aged 16 and 18, and said that the children might not even be aware of what happened to their beloved mother.

Jakatia’s husband was also reported to have been killed because of a crime. The brothers are now currently staying with their uncle’s family.

They still haven’t told Jakatia’s mother, who is now 90, about her demise.

She was a very good sibling to them

Napaiyak na lang ako sa sinabi niya,” Gary recalls his last conversation with his sister.

He added that she was a very good sibling to them.

Her family is hoping that the authorities in Kuwait will bury her according to Islamic rites, since their faith dictates that the body should be buried within a day after death.

Until the end, Jakatia has maintained her innocence. She had been arrested and convicted back in 2007 for allegedly killing her employer’s daughter while she was sleeping.
