Even though the beloved icon Michael Jackson passed away six years ago when his daughter Paris was only 11 years old, he is still missed.
Paris just turned 18 and she marked her entry into adulthood honoring the legacy of her late father.
As she revealed on Instagram, she got a tattoo of her dad’s favorite nickname for her: “Queen of My Heart” in her dad’s handwriting.

“To everyone else he was the King of Pop,” Jackson captioned the Instagram picture she shared Tuesday. “To me, well, he was the king of my heart.”
Tattoo artist Justin Lewis also instagrammed a photo of Paris with her cousin, Austin Brown. “Paris Michael Jackson got her tattoo today, letters from her father, so sweet,” he wrote.

Getting inked was about four years in the making. When she was 14 years old, Paris tweeted:
“I kinda want to get August XXIX tatted on my back,” referencing Michael Jackson’s birthday: Aug. 29, 1958.
