For three years, Meadow has been fighting for justice for her late father who perished in a car crash in 2013.
Hollywood has mourned along with her and share in her quest to make those responsible pay for the tragedy.
A recent report by TMZ revealed that in 2014, she was awarded a $10.1 million settlement from the family of Roger Rodas, Paul’s friend who was driving the car during the accident.
Roger, who was also killed in the car crash, was driving the Porsche Carrera GT when they crashed into a tree, causing the car to burst into flames.
Roger was killed instantly, said Meadow Walker’s attorney, but Paul Walker was still alive when it caught fire.
Meadow’s lawyer, Jeff Milam, explained the need for the settlement was because Roger was found partly responsible for the accident.
According to TMZ, court papers state that Roger was “not directing the car through any particularly unsafe maneuvers when it went out of control.”
Meadow’s attorney told Mashable that though this amount will help, it will barely cover what Paul Walker would have earned as a movie star throughout his lifetime.
At the time of his untimely death, 40-year-old Paul Walker was filming the seventh installment of the Fast and Furious franchise–one of the biggest grossing movie series ever, which earned $1.5 billion worldwide.
“The amount paid by the estate of Roger Rodas into a trust for Meadow Walker only covers a fraction of what her father would have earned as an international movie star had his life not tragically been cut short,” read the statement.

Porsche has since fought back, saying there was nothing wrong with the design and manufacturing of their Carrera GT. They also conjectured that the car “had been altered and improperly maintained”– factors which likely contributed to the fatal crash.
But Milam affirmed that Meadow will continue the wrongful death lawsuit against the $13 billion corporation Porsche.
“Meadow’s lawsuit against Porsche AG intends to hold the company responsibly for producing a vehicle that was defective and caused Paul Walker’s death,” added Milam in the statement. “Meadow will continue the fight to hold Porsche accountable for selling a defective product that kills.”
