Dr. Robert Hamilton has been a practicing pediatrician for three decades. In that time he has taken care of newborns and perfected many techniques including “The Hold”, a maneuver which he claims is his secret to calming a crying baby.
It’s a simple hold which involves folding the baby’s arms across their chest, rocking them, and slightly “shaking their booty”.
In this video, which is quickly going viral, the pediatrician demonstrates “The Hold” and how effective it is on crying babies.
