As a pre-dominantly Christian country, Holy Week is widely practiced in the Philippines. Malling is a big part of our culture too so shopping malls have prepared different Holy Week activities for their guests to engage in.
Ayala ilovemalls
For Ayala malls, most except Serin (Tagaytay) will be closed on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. For other days of the week, you may visit their website.
Ayala also manages Bonifacio High Street (BHS) which will display Walkway: Reflections on the Stations of the Cross from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday, culminating in Easter activities and a concert by Christian band Switchfoot at 7:00pm at the BHS Amphitheater.
Select restaurants will be open on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday for those who wish to dine there.
For Easter Sunday, Ayala Malls Big Easter aims to be a super-sized celebration. Activities vary per mall but may include an Easter Sunday mass, Easter maze, egg hunt, super-sized games, photo station, arts & crafts and food stations.
Participating malls are Glorietta & Greenbelt (Makati), Market Market (Taguig), Alabang Town Center (Muntinlupa), Solenad (Sta. Rosa), Harbor Point (Olongapo), Serin (Tagaytay), Ayala Center Cebu, Centrio (Cagayan de Oro), and Abreeza (Davao).

Still, they have a variety of themes lined up for Easter Sunday in different locations (SpongeBob at McKinley Hill, Dora at Forbes Town Center & Madagascar at Uptown Mall in Taguig, Royal Palace at Newport Mall in Pasay, Kung Fu Panda in Lucky Chinatown in Manila and Superdudes in Eastwood City in Quezon City).
