Morning Sickness during Pregnancy

Morning Sickness during pregnancy refers to the feeling of nausea and vomiting that you may feel early in the morning. In fact, morning sickness is actually a misnomer as it can be experienced at any time of the day. Morning sickness is extremely common during the early stages of pregnancy. However, it tends to go away on its own. No one really knows what causes morning sickness, but one theory says that it is due to the increased activity of hormones during pregnancy.

Other suggested causes are the way digestive tract muscles become relaxed and how the uterine muscles stretch rapidly during the course of pregnancy. Usually, morning sickness is not considered dangerous. However, if you happen to have a severe case of it called hyperemesis gravidarum, you would need to seek medical advice and treatment.
