Month Seven of Your Pregnancy

Hi Mum, you're in your last trimester. Your uterus is so large now that it may be forcing into the pelvic area, hence making you want to pee more. The large size may also start giving you a bit of a back pain. Good posture, low heeled shoes and pelvic rocking will help to minimize backaches.

What Is Happening With Your Baby?

Space is becoming a problem for your baby. As he gets into his comfort zone of the space, he may move to a head down position. Your baby is able to see by now. However his view would mostly be a dull glow. He can also hear, although most sounds are muffled. As you and your spouse speak, he becomes more accustomed to your voices.

He can also taste, although the flavors of the amniotic fluid are subtle. What you eat can change the flavor of the amniotic fluid, so he is already becoming accustomed to the types of food you eat. His lungs are preparing for breathing, and his movements give his muscles exercise. There is tremendous brain and nervous system growth taking place this month. He is also beginning to be able to have some ability to regulate his body temperature.
