Live-in couple Daniel Daprosa and Angelica Olaso both died when a speeding bus hit the motorcycle that they were riding.
The bus was racing with 2 other buses
According to reports, the couple, along with Daniel’s 12-year-old brother went out to buy bread when the motorcycle that they were riding was hit by the speeding bus. Thankfully, Daniel’s 12-year-old brother survived the crash.
According to reports, the bus was racing with 2 other buses in the area.
An off-duty policeman who was in the area when the incident happened helped catch the bus driver, Romeo Castillo, who was only on his third month working for the Amihan Bus company.
He was going to celebrate his 18th birthday
Danilo Daprosa, Daniel’s father, was taken aback by what happened, especially since he lost both his son as well as his unborn grandchild. He shares, “Pinagtakpan lang ‘yung babae, labas na ‘yung katawan wala man lang nagmalasakit na mag-alsa (bumuhat), dinala sa ospital baka nakasalbar (nakasalba) pa ‘yung bata.”
He was very eager and excited to meet his grandson, but sadly, that wasn’t the case.
The accident happened on his son’s 18th birthday.
The family won’t be filing any complaints, but they want the bus company to pay for the hospital bills as well as for the couple’s funeral.
